Cool-weather vegetables

I tilled and sowed one small 4x4 garden of fallen beans and peas that Sadie had knocked over. These seeds were all left-overs from last year's harvest. It will be a potpourri if any of them germinate.

In the old Indian Garden I also planted snow peas, also which Sadie had knocked over. I added new top soil and sulfur and even today's coffee grounds for added nitrogen. I placed wooden beams over the watered soil to keep Sadie out of there; she tends to dig in the loose soil. She also feasted on another fresh bag of bone meal.

The rain storm from California ended up over northern AZ; we are dry today but cooler.
