My pineapple sage is growing new shoots. Some of my purple sage is, too. Although I'm sure we have one more month of potential freezes, my plants want to grow!
I trimmed back dead branches today on the smaller shrubs in the front yard, cut back on the desert broom in the alley and watered my seedlings in the vegetable garden. Several of my lemon seeds germinated. I planted one outside in a planter and placed the rest back in the sealed moist envelope in the south-facing windowsill.
